Individual Therapy
Perhaps you have been feeling increasingly irritable, sad, anxious or burnt out. When prolonged, these states can deplete your vital energy.
I will be very interested to hear anything about you, your present and past experiences – whenever it feels right for you to share. I will respect your own pace. My aim is to help you feel safe and emotionally held so that you can look at aspects of your life you may wish to explore, accept or change. Your narrative might show mistaken, limiting beliefs you may be carrying about yourself and others, and which you may want to update.
Your wounded parts are welcome to come forward and heal, leading to integration and a stronger sense of who you are. Your personal needs, maybe neglected in the past, will hopefully become clearer to you, as you expand your ability to meet them. Life can become more spontaneous, healthier and fulfilling.
As a first step, I encourage you to get in touch and to arrange a twenty-minute introductory conversation over a call or video call. I offer this free of charge, so that you can tell me more about yourself and get a better idea about the way I work. If by the end of this first conversation we both feel that working together could be beneficial, we would then arrange your regular sessions.

I will not die an unlived life
I will not die an unlived life
I will not live in fear
of falling or catching fire.
I choose to inhabit my days,
to allow my living to open me,
to make me less afraid,
more accessible,
to loosen my heart
until it becomes a wing,
a torch, a promise
I choose to risk my significance;
to live so that which came to me as seed
goes to the next as blossom
and that which came to me as blossom,
goes on as fruit.
Couple Therapy
Two people who are aiming at repairing what went wrong in their relationship and connecting more deeply, need a constructive atmosphere; one that promotes a sense of being understood and appreciated, of feeling safe, secure, and having hope to obtain positive outcomes.
As a couple counsellor, I will attentively listen to your concerns and invite you into a conversation about your experiences in a way that is acknowledging of both of you individually, and of your history together. I will provide a framework to encourage you to effectively listen to one another, fostering a caring and nurturing dialogue. A restored capacity to be present and attuned with each other leads to emotional connection, facilitates conflict resolution and re-establishes trust.
I work with people who want to better understand and improve relationships of all kinds: marriages and romantic relationships of all sexualities, as well as friendships, parent and child, siblings and so on.

Group Therapy
This is a great opportunity to be seen and heard, to witness other people’s narratives and to learn from and with each other. During group sessions, members work to express their own challenges and aspirations, feelings, ideas, and reactions as freely and honestly as possible. This provides opportunities for change and growth. It promotes self-understanding, the acquisition of skills for dealing with your concerns, and improvement in your relationships.

Recent Testimonial
“I have been attending the men’s group for several months now and it has become an important part of my life. It can be easy to feel emotionally isolated as a man, especially as I live in a different country. The connection I now have to my fellow members really gives me the support I was missing.
Joe leads us and challenges us all whilst helping us to build trust in each other and the process. The group is absolutely invaluable to me at the moment. To anyone feeling nervous about starting in this direction I would say dive in,
you won’t regret it.”
